Welcome to the Protector Corp Database! Here you will find web only content about the characters, world and universe found in the pages of the Protector Corp comic books.
This section currently has a character profile page as well as a more general info page called The Gg'verse. These pages are updated with new information as the books are published.
I wanted to take a moment and answer some of the more frequent questions people have asked me regarding my work and the protectors in particular. If you have a question for me, please send me an email to email@example.com and I will happily answer it.
Is the Protector Corps an ongoing title?
No, The Protectors is a miniseries that will have three volumes. Volume one will have approximately 5 issues.
When is the next issue coming out?
I don't have a date yet for issue three. I am currently unemployed and have to devote a significant amount of time securing a fulltime job. As of May 2012 I have the last issue of InterSections to complete as well as Between Here and the Lint Trap. Once those are done, it is my intention to finish writing and drawing the rest of vol 1 of Protectors (I can say that I have made progress on the script for issue three ). I will then brake the production (coloring, layout and letters) down by issue and hopefully be able to release the remaining issues in a short time span. So It maybe another long gap for issue three but I intend for four and five to follow much faster.
Do you do all the work??
Yes, I am the writer and artist. I do have friends who help out with copy and story editing.
What mediums do you use?
For is title, I draw all the art in pencil on standard comic book illustration board. I only use ink for boarders and things like depicting space. I use gesso for corrections, when I need really white highlights, or for star effects. I scan everything into Photoshop where I do all the coloring, layouts and lettering.
Where can I get an issue?
You can get issues printed on demand from www.comixpress.com, here at this website under the publications tab, in person at Whatever in San Francisco or at a convention that I'm exhibiting at.
